Can you sell all but 1 building, before you upgrade it? For example, if I had 70 pastures and sold 69, will I gain resources, in part, back, THEN upgrade to the solar farm with no consequences towards its production?
You can sell 100% of the buildings and upgrading will still work the same as if you hadn’t sold any. Upgrading resets the count of the building to zero.
I still don’t bother selling before upgrading, though, just because the refunded resources aren’t worth any effort, outside of maybe iron will.
