I’ve noticed that kittens actually lose XP if they’re idle, and that when I assign a kitten to a job other than the one they’re most skilled at, they lose “percentage” on the previous job. Does this game implement some sort of hidden skill rust?

It does, though it’s pretty small and you can overcome it by getting Neural network
